B&B Montebello is a lovely renovated building located neer the Teatre Comunale of Florence and the train station Santa Maria Novella.
There are rooms beautifully furnished in rustic colors of gold, burnt orange, blues and mauve tones.Each room is unique with its antique furnishings and hig ceilings.
All rooms have TV, heat, and air conditioning, wireless internet, phone.
There is a nice garden in the back where you can sit and relax after a long day of touring.
Montebello B&B serves a complementary breakfast in the room of coffe, tea, juice, jam and croissants every morning from 8.30-10 AM
B&B Montebello has a large reception area with internet access for our guests. There are five rooms with private bathroom. There are two rooms that share a large bathroom in close vicinity. Complimentary breakfast is served in the main sala, or you can also have it served in your room. There is a large garden area where you can relax after a long day of walking in Florence. It is quiet so you can read, or take care of business affairs.
All of the beds are custom made from wood and equipped with orthopaedic mattresses. The private bathrooms as well as shared bathroom have showers. There is air-conditioning and heat, TV and wireless connection in all the rooms.
The idea for the B&B Montebello originated from the love of art, along with the feeling of presenting Tuscan hospitality in Florence with all the characteristics of the Italian culture. It is our priority that every guest who stays with us is happy, therefore, we are at your disposal to help you with your itinerary for culture, food and wines and amusement in the city.
B&B is close to the Santa Maria Novella train station and the theatre Maggio Fiorentino. There is also a large park called “Parco delle Cascine” where you can take a beautiful stroll or a nice bike ride. Bikes can be rented by 100 m from B&B Montebello 49, Florence.
You can reach many museums and churches by foot that are jewels of architecture in the city! The center is famous for all the shopping with the best stores and boutiques for special items of leisure and gifts. Every corner there are different types to choose from with the characteristics of old Florence—it’s colors, perfumes and unique tastes that are unmistakeable!
For your convenience, you can also reach the outskirts of the city fairly easily from B&B Montebello by taking an excursion to Chianti-Siena-Pisa. A bus also will take you to the local “Outlets” (if you wish) where you can find designer items at a much reduced price. There are also local tours within the city by foot or bus, as well as private car.
